We will not have buses or dedicated transportation to or from any of our events. Luckily, we specifically chose to get married in the heart of Nashville for ease of transportation! Ubers and Lyfts are abundant and quick around these parts, so getting around should be a breeze. Our wedding venue, Ruby, is in Hillsboro Village, one of Nashville's most walkable neighborhoods. It is a 10-minute/0.4-mile walk from our hotel block at The Moxy Vanderbilt!

Yes! You can drive to Ruby and park in the lot directly next door to the venue at Harris-Hillman School FOR FREE! Parking is noted by the blue placemark on the map below: Please do not drive your car if you've been drinking! You are welcome to leave your car in the lot overnight.

While we would love to have everyone at our wedding, Ruby is an intimate venue with a strict capacity. If you and a guest have been invited, their name will be on your invitation, and you will be asked if they are attending when you RSVP through our website.

While we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration with limited capacity in the venue! We respectfully request no children or adults who were not specifically invited to our reception. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but hope you can still make it!

SO glad you asked! Attire is listed on the weekend events page, but if you're curious about what we mean by "Fun Formal,"....Think colorful, patterned, textured, or even sparkly! Something you'd be excited to show off under a disco ball! Sweeping dreamy dresses and jackets with bolo ties! It doesn't have to be extreme, just a twist on your classic formal wear. Something a little quirky, just like the bride and groom ;) If your definition of fun is a classic black suit and tie, we're good with that too! As long as you promise to bust at least one move on the dance floor (please, please, please!!!)

Our ceremony and reception will be inside the Ruby! There will be a cocktail hour after the ceremony on the front covered patio outside. Guests will not be allowed inside the venue during the cocktail hour. Please be prepared for late May weather!
